Style Tips for my @QVC #NYFW Picks!

Hey loves! Remember to shop my picks from QVC! The fashion show last night was incredible. Everyone was there from Star Jones, the Olsen twins, and my favorite, Maria Menounos!

You can buy any of these pieces here, and below are my styling tips!! XOXO

—-

1. Leave it to Ms. Rivers to deliver the most stunning statement worthy jewelry! This necklace can be worn with any outfit for an instant glamorous look.

2. Bold botanical prints are one of this season’s hottest trends and it looks best paired with simple separates. This waist cinching trench coat looks fantastic with crisp white pants and a simple tank underneath.

3. Sometimes all it takes is a sparkly bracelet to add instant luxury to a look. This bling-filled bracelet looks best by itself as a standalone piece.

4. Show off your tiny waist in this figure flattering and versatile top. Wear it with jeans and wedges for a casual look or a pencil skirt and pumps for a professional look at the office.

5. Throw all of your daily necessities in this roomy hobo bag with the sturdy reliable leather. The lovely coral shade is the perfect accessory for the warmer months too!

How To Wear- Cynthia Vincent Cami Dress

New York City was teased with spring-like weather on Wednesday, and it got me thinking. I need to start investing in transitional dresses and flowy separates soon! (Okay, maybe it’s just another excuse to go shopping!)

Cynthia Vincent is one of my favorite contemporary designers. Her pieces are modest with just the right amount of sexy. I’m obsessed with this mid-length cami dress. The pretty print is romantic and it looks fantastic with sky high wedges or strappy flat sandals. For the chillier days, throw on a lightweight leather motorcycle jacket or a belted cardigan.

For The Guys: Valentine’s Day Is Just Around The Corner…

Don’t you feel that after the holiday season, shopping for other holidays like Valentine’s day just gets a bit trickier, not easier? It’s okay, I got you covered.

Whenever I do gift guides, I always think about a few things. I make sure that they are going to be items that people will actually use and find thoughtful.

This year, think outside of the box when it comes to gifting goodies for your male significant other. If you don’t have anyone ‘special’ for this day, why not give it to an important male figure in your life to show your love and appreciation? Keep in mindValentine’s day is not always about couple-y love. It’s about love in general!

This smart set of four skincare products by Organic Male OM4 can be sold as a set or separately. It’s the quickest way to ensure flawless skin with minimal thought and effort in four easy steps.

OM4 has only the most natural and bioactive ingredients packed with antioxidants to give his face moisture.  Find more information about the products on their site here.

Stay tuned for more Valentine’s day gift ideas! XOX

Update: DIY 3D Nail Art (Design by Kyle Luu)
I’m a huge fan of Japanese 3D nail art. I admit, I spent way too much money on crazy cool nail designs and it always left me feeling guilty- even though I had killer nails.
Yet, the truth of the matter is, if you can do it yourself at the luxury of your home.. why not?
So here is what you will need.. the steps are relatively simple. I honestly let Kyle use his creative mind flow with the design on my nails. He said there wasn’t a specific theme in mind.
1) Kiss- 100 Nails Kit: Or any kit with press-ons. They stick on really quickly and lasts for about a week. File them down to the shape you like.
2) Various Nail Polishes: I grabbed colors from my nail polish collection that I thought worked well together. If you want to copy my design, just get a turquoise, midnight blue, white, and this glitter polish from Milani
3) Be unpredictable with the color placements. I kept the palette harmonious with cool shades and an unexpected gold pinky.
4) Add gems. Glue them on using the same glue that you used to apply the fake nails. Make sure the polish is dry! Seal with top coat.
And that’s really it! Have fun and keep in mind that if you mess up- it’s okay. There’s a thing called nail polish remover, and she is your best friend ;)
Take pictures and send me your own DIY designs! XOX

Fitness Fun! Video for @KmartFashion

I know what you’re thinking. Working out? During the wintertime? Especially in New York’s wintery climate? Yeah, right!

I feel your pain. I don’t think I’ve ever had the most positive outlook on going to the gym, but what makes and keeps me motivated is how I feel afterwards and knowing I’m putting in the extra effort to take time for myself.

Check out my latest video via Kmart Fashion. Watch me work out and give out some pointers on how to stay fit for the winter time!

Side note, I love jumping rope, kickboxing, yoga, and hip hop dance classes. What are some of your favorite work out regimes?

xx!

Perfect Shade of Pale Pink

L’OREAL’s ’How Romantic’ nail polish is the exact shade of pink I’ve been looking for. I always combine colors at the salons to achieve the nudeish-white-pink shade. Search no more! Get it at a local drugstore near you.

Chloe frames for $99!

Today at the optometrist.. I found out my vision got worse. Makes sense, because I’ve been wearing the same prescription eyeglasses for years, and I never updated the lenses. DO NOT do that! Dumb, dumb, and dumb.

With that being said, I figured it was time for me to get a new pair of specs anyway. Problem is, I always end up choosing frames that are way too overpriced. The eyeglasses that I was wearing before were these purple Burberry frames with a missing nose pad, and that funky-cool-girl-chic look.. I’ve overgrown. These gorgeous Chloe ones were only $99 at Costco!

I have to wait about a week for them to be in my hands, but I can’t wait to wear them!  This picture doesn’t do it justice.. wait for the Instagram!
